Author's Note: There's a scene in this chapter for which I've always wanted to see an image - Liara and her friends leading a mostly-asari procession across the Presidium toward the Council Tower. I've tried to build that picture once or twice myself using my software tools, but somehow it's never quite come together for me. Consider this a challenge for Mass Effect fan artists - if you can come up with a visual treatment of that scene that works well enough to impress me, I'd be very thankful and there might be some dA points in it for you.

This has to be one of my favorite scenes in your story. The image of Liara leading this growing procession across the Presidium towards Counselor Tevos' office is inspiring. You can almost hear music, growing in complexity, as more asari join the march.
